Meet Lucy.

Today I wanted give you a quick introduction to the woman who started it all {and the little sassafrass that is Lucy!}

Co-owner and founder Cheyenne Lawrence was kind enough to answer some quick questions about herself, life in the fashion biz, and all of her Lucy Ave must haves!

1. Before anything.. Tell us a little bit about yourself

I am a coffee addict. You don't want to see me in the morning until I have had my coffee. I have been married to my High School sweetheart for almost 3 years! We have a beautiful and sassy 1 year old little girl. :) They are my whole world! I worked for a local women's shoe company in Utah for 8 years being a Store Manager and a Shoe Buyer. Everything we sell is packed and shipped out of our house by my husband and I. Gets a little crazy with little a little monster crawling around!

2.  Lucy Avenue.. LOVE! What was your inspiration for the name?

My daughter's name is Lucy and she is my inspiration for everything! 

3. What motivated you to jump into the fashion boutique world?

Working in the shoe industry, really showed me how much fun the fashion world is! I love clothing and shoes but I hated spending so much money for boutique style items. I wanted to bring a store to women where they can buy boutique style items at an affordable price.

4. What trends have you most excited for the upcoming winter season?

I'm obsessed with buffalo plaid. I have been so excited to bring it in to our winter collection! And also FRINGE! The more fringe the better :)

5. If you could pick one style currently on the site that you couldn't live without.. What would it be?

My favorite top on the site right now is the Abby top. I have it in every color!! It is SO COMFY! Its easy to layer and very flattering.
