With back to school right around the corner, it's time to start thinking about school drop off looks. All you busy moms may agree that moms and school drop off don't always mix well. If you're like us at all, you may find yourself herding your school-goers to the car while looking a little scary with a baseball cap and mismatched socks. We all have those days, no shame! But girl, we got you. Check out these quick and easy pieces to help you lose the grungy zip up and rock the drop off line.
Go for a set!
We totally get it, you're in a hurry! Feeding kids, doing last minute homework, brushing teeth, checking backpacks, etc..That's why we always recommend a set. Take the guess work and time away from choosing your look. Grab the top, grab the bottoms, and boom you're looking fab! Here are some sets we are currently loving.
1. Jaelyn Tie Dye Lounge Set
It's tie dye so duh, we love it! It's long sleeved and pants (perfect for those Monday's when you forgot to shave). Also, it's SUPER comfy.
2. Chandler Biker Short And Oversized Pocket Tee Set - Mauve
Biker shorts are making a serious comeback, and we're all here for it! Plus, they look super cute with an oversized top which they already come with, because remember how this is set, heck yes!
3. Jules Striped Lounge Set - Brick
We absolutely love this cozy set. It's striped, so cute! It's relaxed, which is perfect for any morning, if you ask us. And it's great for a fall transition. We're loving the brick/rust color right now.
Tees and comfy bottoms for the win!
Back to school drop off is all about finding a good balance of casual and cute. That's why we definitely love a good casual tee. You really can't go wrong with a great tee and some easy bottoms. Check out these darling and flattering options.
1. Radiate Positive Vibes Graphic Tee
We love the positive vibes this tee is putting out there! Seriously perfect for school drop off, don't you think? With it's soft blended cotton and unisex fit, it's a go to for sure!
2. Merritt High Rise Fray Hem Skinny Jean
Thank goodness high rise skinnies are still all the craze! They hug all the right places and fit great on literally everyone. These are distressed just enough to put you in the cool mom group, so that's a bonus too!
3. Exclusive! Andi Striped Rib Top
It's ribbed which we totally love! Horizontal stripes are super flattering and it has just enough stretch to be totally comfortable. It's bold colors will also get you noticed in all the right ways!
4. Amberly Button Joggers - Black
A good pair of joggers is perfect for those on the go mornings. We love that they are black which will quickly match with almost any casual tee. Also, the non functional buttons add a touch of detail that makes it seem like you're trying harder than you really are (best trick ever).
Quick and easy shoes!
Well, you can't leave the house barefoot! We're always looking for the fastest shoe options possible for school drop off. Here are some cute styles you can grab to replace those old flip flops you got on your beach vacation 5 years ago. (Yeah, we have a pair too).
1. Grant Side Cut Sneakers - Sand
These new sneakers are seriously so cute with that side cut out; and they're easy slip ons, so that's always good. We love that the color can definitely match tons of outfits. It's also nice to have a closed toe option ready in case your pedicure game isn't on point, which unfortunately happens to all of us sometimes, especially during this pandemic!
2. Kaylee Slip On Sandals - White
These no fuss slip ons take literally one second to slip on. They also match with pretty much anything! They are nice and flat so you definitely won't be rolling your ankle, or getting a heel stuck in the sidewalk cracks. That for sure isn't what we want for your school drop off game!
So, there you have it moms! Go for any of these pieces to arm yourself in the school drop off battle and you'll find yourself winning time and time again. Thanks for checking in with us and be sure to come back Friday. Our next Blog Post will be offering some looks to help you transition from summer to fall. See you then!
